Friday: Corpus Christi IceRays 4 @ El Paso Rhinos 1 - We're back in Rhino Country this weekend as the Corpus Christi Ice Rays pay a visit to El Paso. We start off the night with the IcecRays taking the lead at 4:50 as Nils Forselius gets in a shot past Rhino defense followed just a few minutes later by Blake Lewis with a second. At the end of the first period the IceRays take a 2-0 lead over the Rhinos. Moving on to the second period Logan Neilson gives Corpus Christi their third goal of the night. With no more scoring in the second period we head into the third where Corpus Christi leads 3-0 over El Paso. AJ Reed puts the Rhinos on the board at the 5:19 mark in the third period, but this would be the Rhinos only tally of the night. with just over a minute to go in regulation time Anthony Cafarelli sinks one more puck in the net to end the night at a 4-1 lead for the IceRays.
