
Toledo Walleye Establish Ticket Milestone

(TOLEDO, OH) - The Toledo Walleye (ECHL) are pleased to announce that over 2,200 season tickets have already been sold for the 2010-11 season. This ranks the Walleye in the top 3 in the ECHL (19 teams) currently in season tickets sold.
The Walleye finished the 2009-10 season with 2,160 season ticket holders.
With the start of the hockey season just two weeks away, the fans have shown strong support for the team in their second season.
As of September 29, the Toledo Walleye ticket department has pre-sold over 107,807 tickets for the 2010-11 season.
Assistant General Manager/Ticket Sales & Operations Erik Ibsen said, "The support of Toledo Walleye hockey has been tremendous. We have talked to so many people over the last several months and we are thrilled that we have surpassed the inaugural season's season ticket number. The number of pre-sold tickets (over 100,000) translates into a great start to the upcoming season."
