SALISBURY, MD - Josh Tobias had three hits including a home run and Grenny Cumana had four hits as Lakewood topped Delmarva 7-1 on Wednesday night at Perdue Stadium.

The BlueClaws (6-8/35-48) took two of three in the series from Delmarva (6-8/48-35), book-ending the series with wins after losing Tuesday 14-2.

Cumana's four-hit game was his second of the series, over which he went 9-12, and is now 33-96 since the beginning of June.

The BlueClaws jumped out to a 1-0 lead on a home run by Josh Tobias in the opening inning. It was his seventh home run of the year - all have come on the road.

After Delmarva tied the game in the second, the BlueClaws re-took the lead in the fourth when Tobias singled, advanced to second on a walk, third on a groundout, and scored on a wild pitch to put the BlueClaws up 2-1.

Then in the sixth, Lakewood blew the game open. Carlos Duran's two-run single made it 4-1 before Grenny Cumana's RBI single put the BlueClaws up 5-1 and chased Brian Gonzalez from the game. Tobias then singled in a run off Dariel Delgado for a 6-1 lead.

Cumana added an RBI double in the eighth inning to put the BlueClaws up 7-1.

BlueClaws starter Franklyn Kilome (2-7) gave up one run over five innings, walking five but striking out seven, to earn his second win of the year. Jeff Singer threw three scoreless innings and Skylar Hunter tossed a scoreless ninth for the BlueClaws.

Delmarva's Brian Gonzalez (5-5) gave up six runs over 5.2 innings and took the loss.

The BlueClaws head home and open a four-game series with West Virginia on Thursday night. RHP Jose Taveras (3-7) starts for Lakewood against RHP Mitch Keller (5-5).
