August 17, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Montreal Royal News Release
Montreal, Canada. Tito Destin, who has been the ABA Montreal Matrix General Manager since January, has now earned his place as co-owner. After putting countless hours and efforts into restructuring the Matrix at the end of last season, Melvin Coles, principle owner, decided to reward him for his hard work and dedication to the team's success by making him a co-owner. "I am really pleased and proud of this great opportunity and I think Mr. Coles for believing in me," said Destin. The Matrix will soon be holding tryouts for the upcoming season and local players are eager to get the ball rolling.
