Noise playing in Atlanta Roundball tournament
Published on August 17, 2006 under American Basketball Association (ABA)
Knoxville Noise News Release
The Knoxville Noise will be playing in Atlanta in the Southern Classic Roundball August 18th thru the 20th. There are 29 competitive teams participating in the tournament. The Noise is bringing a strong team to the tournament and feels that it will be a good litmus test for their upcoming season. Team owner Gavin Raiteri stated the following. "We have been using a lot of different combinations of players to try and get a look at how players perform in real game situations. It is hard sometimes to judge how a player will fit into your team's plans by how they perform in a tryout camp.
The Noise Roster for the Tournament consist of the following players: Terrence Woods, Mike Harper, Boo Jackson, Jason Harrell, Jemere Hendrix, Chris Wiley, Brandon Stockton, Brandon Childs, Jean Felix, Dominique Holmes, Kevin McDonald.
There will be daily updates posted on the Noise website. For more information log on to www.knoxvillenoise.com
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
