P.M. Dawn to headline ABA Red, White and Blue Concert
August 17, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) announced that P.M. Dawn would be one of the featured headliners at the ABA Red, White and Blue Concert to be held at the Barton Coliseum on Saturday, September 9th in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Since 1990, P.M. Dawn has been redefining and challenging musical boundaries. Prince Be's haunting, whimsical, alto voice behind the smash debut single "Set Adrift on Memory Bliss" influenced everything from this era's boy bands to Puffy's Mase-Notorious B.I.G./Sting apocalypic new hip hop swing. Joining forces with his brother, JC, the group sampled a popular ballad from Spandau Ballet and set the world on fire. P.M. Dawn's debt album "Of the Heart, Of the Soul and of the Cross" sold millions of records worldwide and launched the New Jersey duo's roller coaster ride of fame. P.M. Dawn is credited with over 22,000,000 records sold worldwide with 3 Top 5 Singles, 2 platinum albums and 2 platinum records - and was voted the #1 artist on the season finale of NBC's "Hit Me Baby One More Time."
According to Paul Allsup, coordinator for inaugural Red, White and Blue Concert, P.M. Dawn is just one of a tremendous lineup of great stars. We are so proud to have them as part of this concert and know that the fans will go wild."
Tickets are now on sale at the Barton Coliseum box office or at all TicketMaster locations in Little Rock. For more information, email paul_allsup_2000@yahoo.com or visit www.abalive.com.
