TRENTON, NJ (December 4, 2005) - Mathieu Brunelle scored just 1:24 into overtime to give the Titans a 4-3 victory over the Dayton Bombers in front of 3,968 at the Sovereign Bank Arena.

The Bombers staked a 2-0 lead late in the first on goals by Brett Nowak and Jeff Szwez, but Chris Pittman was able to cut the deficit in half when he scored his fourth of the season with just 42.1 seconds remaining in the period.

Scott Bertoli helped the Titans tie it up 3:54 in the second frame, when he completed a two-on-one with Mathieu Brunelle. It was Bertoli's third goal in as many games and Brunelle's second assist of the contest.

Trenton continued to pepper Bombers goalie Mike Brown with shots and eventually Aaron Gill was able to break through with a power play goal to put his team up 3-2. Matt Herneisen would tally his first goal of the season at 10:34 sending the game into overtime.

In the extra session, Brunelle completed his three-point night as he put home his own rebound to clinch the 4-3 victory for Trenton.

Dustin Traylen faced another heavy workload, stopping 32 shots en route to his third consecutive win. The Titans received strong play on special teams, going 2-for-2 on the penalty kill and 1-for-6 on the power play.

The Titans complete their four-game home stand against the Long Beach Ice Dogs on Wednesday, December 7 at 7:00pm. Tune into WBCB 1490AM or go to www.trentontitans.com to hear all of the Titans action.
