
Titans power past Bombers, 4-1

The Trenton Titans scored three first period power play goals, a pair of which came in a one-minute span, en route to a 4-1 win over the Dayton Bombers at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, New Jersey Friday night.
Fraser Clair scored the Bombers' lone goal, a second period short-handed tally assisted by Chad Theuer. However, the three-goal Trenton opening period spurt, featuring two goals by Matt Zultek and one by Chris Pittman, was the difference. Mathieu Brunelle scored into an empty net with less than 16 seconds to play.
BOMBERS BITES
- The Bombers, who have embarked on their longest road trip in terms of miles to be traveled- 1725- this season, will continue the sojourn with a game tonight at Wheeling (7:30 p.m.).
- Goalie Bujar Amidovski's start Friday night against his former team marked the first time this season that a Bombers' netminder has started in four straight contests.
- The Bombers' next Nutter Center home game is Friday, February 6, 2004 vs. Wheeling (7:00 p.m.). The Bombers will be having their Second Annual Mardi Gras Night at this contest. To purchase tickets for all Nutter Center Bombers' home games, contact the Bombers' office at (937) 775-4747.
