Trenton Titans News Release

TRENTON, N.J. - The Trenton Titans received a boost Wednesday with forward Andy Bohmbach joining the team from the AHL Adirondack Phantoms.

Bohmbach, 24, a native of Hudson, Wis., is a 6-foot-2, 200-pounder who scored 72 points (28 goals, 44 assists) in 65 games with the Toledo Walleye last season - earning a spot in the 2011 ECHL All-Star Game - before a six-game stint with the AHL's Rockford Ice Hogs.

With the Walleye, he was a teammate of Titans captain Randy Rowe.

"Absolutely Andy will help us in areas we have need,'' said Titans head coach Vince Williams. "He can distribute the puck, score, kill penalties and work on the power play.''

Forward Patrick Kennedy was released to make room on the roster for Bohmbach, who will make his Titans debut in Saturday's 7 p.m. home-opener vs. the Florida Everblades.

Following Saturday's game, Opening Weekend continues with a visit by the Cincinnati Cyclones at 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 23, to the Sun National Bank Center. The Titans then welcome the Gwinnett Gladiators (Oct. 26) and Reading Royals (Oct. 28) in games with 7 p.m. starts.

The Titans are offering a 4-for-$48 package, consisting of four lower-level seats, four hot dogs and four sodas, for all 36 home games. The package is available by calling the Titans offices at 609-341-1100.
