Tips Pick Up Win #20

Ivan Baranka and Mitch Love each tallied a goal and an assist as the Everett Silvertips down the Portland Winter Hawks 6-3 in front 8,101 fans at the Everett Events Center on Saturday night. With the win the Tips' remain in 3rd place in the U.S. Division with a record of 20-17-7-1.

The Silvertips also got contributions from Barry Horman, Jeff Schmidt, and Chad Bassen who tallied a goal a piece and Riley Armstrong who added 2 assists. Shots were even in tonight's game at 27 a piece. The Silvertips went 2 for 6 on the power play and the Winter Hawks went 1 for 3 on the extra man advantage.

The Silvertips will be back in action on Wednesday, January 21st when the Spokane Chiefs come to the Everett Events Center. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
