
Timbers Host Inter Miami CF at Providence Park Today

The Portland Timbers are set to host Eastern Conference side Inter Miami CF today, Sunday, Oct. 3 at Providence Park. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. (Pacific) and will feature a national television broadcast on FS1 with local radio broadcasts on 750 The Game (English) and La GranD 1150AM/93.5 FM (Spanish).
Today's match marks the inaugural league meeting between Portland (13-10-4) and Miami (9-12-5) since the Eastern Conference side joined in 2020. The match is Portland's second meeting against an Eastern team in the 2021 campaign. Heading into the contest, the Timbers are unbeaten in the last seven matches (6-0-1), three at home and four on the road. In Portland's last home match (Sept. 29), the Timbers downed Real Salt Lake 6-1 scoring the most goals in a game since Oct. 7, 2020.
