KANSAS CITY, Kans. - The Portland Timbers earned a point on the road with a 1-1 draw against Sporting Kansas City at Children's Mercy Park on Wednesday night. Mora scored his team-leading seventh goal of the season with the assist from Marvin Loría.
Undefeated Against SKC
Timbers are undefeated against Kansas City in their last six games dating back to 2018 (3-0-3) after earning tonight's 1-1 draw. The match was the 18th meeting between the two sides in regular season play and the second in the 2021 campaign, with Portland leading the series this year 1-0-1.
Mora's Headed to the Top
Tonight, Felipe Mora scored his team-leading seventh goal in the 2021 campaign, and fifth with his head. Mora leads the league in header goals dating back to the start of the 2020 season (7).
