Tim Frazier Named D-League Performer of the Week

PORTLAND, Maine - The NBA Development League announced today that Tim Frazier of the Maine Red Claws was named NBA D-League Performer of the Week for the week ending on March 6. This is the first Performer of the Week for Frazier this season, his first full week with the Red Claws. Frazier was a three-time winner last season with Maine, when he was named NBA D-League MVP and Rookie of the Year.

Frazier was near a triple-double in all three games last week, all wins. He averaged 14.0 points, 10.7 rebounds and 9.3 assists on the week.

On March 3, Frazier recorded 7 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists in a home win over Iowa. The Red Claws hit the road, where Frazier scored 17 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists Saturday at Raptors 905, and added 18 points (8-9 FG), 11 rebounds and 9 assists Sunday at Westchester. Frazier shot 48.4% from the floor on the week.

In five games with Maine, Frazier is averaging 16.4 points, 10.2 rebounds and 9.2 assists. All-time, Frazier has five of the Red Claws' ten triple-doubles, including a 24 point, 12 rebound, 10 assist performance in just his second game back with Maine on Feb. 28.

Frazier signed a multiyear deal with the Portland Trail Blazers last season. He was waived by Portland and returned to the Red Claws two weeks ago.
