March 7, 2016 - NBA G League (G League)
Idaho Stampede News Release
BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Stampede will host their fifth annual "Real Men Wear Pink" night presented by St. Luke's Mountain States Tumor Institute (MSTI) during the team's weekend series against the Austin Spurs on Friday, March 11 and Saturday, March 12. Both games will tip-off at 7 p.m. MT at CenturyLink Arena.
Idaho will wear pink jerseys on the court that will be auctioned off during both games. All proceeds raised will benefit the mammography assistance fund at St. Luke's to help save the lives of countless women. As a state, breast cancer screening in Idaho is significantly lower than that observed by the U.S. with 68.6 percent of women receiving screening mammogram care compared to a national average of 77.5 percent.
All jerseys will be available for fans to bid on through an online auction, which is live now at www.idstampede.afrogs.org. Fans also have the chance to get involved by purchasing a raffle ticket at either games to be entered to win a jersey signed by the entire team. The auction will end on March 12 at 11:59 p.m. MT.
