
Tigers Trade Bocharov to Tri-City in Exchange for Draft Pick

Medicine Hat, AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers have completed a trade with the Tri-City Americans Tuesday afternoon. Sending 2004 born defenceman Pavel Bocharov (Escondido, CA) to to the Americans in exchange for a 4th round pick in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft.
Bocharov was acquired by the Tigers in the 2021-2022 season from the Sasakatoon Blades. Where in his 100 games played with the Tigers, he accumulated 13 goals and 20 assists for 33 points.
Tigers Head Coach & General Manager Willie Desjardins says he wishes Bocharov all the best with Tri-City.
"We'd like to thank Pasha and his family for all that he did for us the past season and a half," he says. "Without Pasha's willingness to move to forward from his natural position of defence. He helped our hockey club succeed and clinch a playoff spot with his commitment to being a strong team player within our group."
The Tigers will open the 2023-2024 WHL Regular Season Friday night in Calgary against the Hitmen, followed by the home opener against Calgary on Saturday at Co-op Place.
