Thomas Tien Signs with Tri-City

KENNEWICK, WA - Tri-City Americans general manager Bob Tory announced today that the team has signed 2004-born forward Thomas Tien to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.

Tien, from Richmond, B.C., was selected in the 11th round of the 2019 WHL Prospect Draft by the Moose Jaw Warriors. He played 55 career WHL games, tallying a career four goals and eight assists for the Warriors. Tien played the 2022-23 season with the Vernon Vipers of the BCHL, putting up 20 points (eight goals, 12 assists) through 32 games played.

"Thomas came to our camp as a free agent," said Tory. "He worked extremely hard and has earned a spot on our team."

The 2023-24 WHL season begins this Friday as the Americans start on the road in Prince George.
