
Tigers Hold off Hitmen 5-4

Medicine Hat, AB - Linus Nassen scored twice to lead the Medicine Hat Tigers past the Calgary Hitmen 5-4 on Sunday night at the Canalta Centre.
Tigers goaltender Jordan Hollett made 36 saves, 15 in the third period alone when Calgary outshot the home side 15-1.
Corson Hopwo, Josh Williams and Hayden Ostir also netted goals for Medicine Hat which built period leads of 3-1 and 5-3.
Kaden Elder scored twice in the loss with Luke Coleman and Cael Zimmerman adding singles. Jake Kryski and Jackson van de Leest both chipped in a pair of assists.
Calgary outshot the Tigers 40-28 but lost the special teams battle. The Hitmen went 0-1 on the power play with Medicine Hat turning in a 2-4 performance.
The Hitmen will now get set to return to action next weekend for a pair of games. On Friday, Nov. 9 they visit the Lethbridge Hurricanes before hosting the Kootenay ICE on Sunday, Nov. 11 in their final home game of the month. Game time is 4:00 p.m. at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
