
Tigers Acqurie Couture From Spokane

Medicine Hat, AB â Medicine Hat Tigers have acquired 19-year-old defenseman Liam Couture from the Spokane Chiefs in exchange for 18-year-old forward Kyle Howarth.
Couture is entering his third season of play in the WHL and played the last two seasons with the Chiefs.
Liam's father, Damien Steiert, played for the Tigers for parts of three seasons from 1978-79 to 1980-81.
"Liam will bring additional character, leadership and experience to our hockey club," said Tigers' general manager Mike Moore. "We are very pleased to add Liam to our organization."
