
Tiger-Cats Training Camp Begins Next Week

HAMILTON - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats 2013 training camp will begin next week at McMaster University.
A three-day rookie camp, featuring first year players and quarterbacks, will begin on Wednesday, May 29 while veteran players will hit the field for the first time on Sunday, June 2.
BLACK AND GOLD DAY IN GUELPH
Black and Gold Day, the Ticats much-anticipated annual fan event, will take place on Saturday, June 8 at the University of Guelph's Alumni Stadium from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Fans will have their first opportunity to check out the Ticats 2013 home field while watching the team continue their preparations for the upcoming season. Black and Gold Day will feature fun for the whole family with live music, interactive inflatables, cheerleaders and mascots on site.
After the team is finished practicing, fans will be invited onto the field to collect autographs and take pictures with their favourite players.
KEY TRAINING CAMP DATES
Monday, May 27 - Rookies report to McMaster
Wednesday, May 29 - First rookie camp practice at 1:15 p.m.
Saturday, June 1 - Veterans report to McMaster
Sunday, June 2 - First training camp practice at 8:30 a.m.
Saturday, June 8 - Black and Gold Day at Alumni Stadium (Practice begins at 10 a.m.)
Thursday, June 13 - Preseason game #1 at Montreal (Kickoff at 7 p.m.)
Thursday, June 20 - Preseason game #2 vs. Winnipeg (Kickoff at 7 p.m)
