
Blue Bombers Add DiCroce from Draft; Issue Statement on Kris Robertson

WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have inked non-import receiver Michael DiCroce, the team's fourth round pick in this year's CFL Draft.
DiCroce (5-11, 190, McMaster, DOB: August 28, 1989 in Hamilton, Ontario) was the 29th overall selection in the 2013 CFL Draft after an outstanding career at McMaster where he was a first team All-Canadian and a finalist for the Hec Crighton Trophy in 2011 after leading the CIS in receiving with 48 receptions for 904 yards and six touchdowns. He missed most of his senior season due to injury but returned in time for the playoffs, hauling in 26 passes for 384 yards and three touchdowns. DiCroce caught a team-high nine passes in the Marauders' Vanier Cup loss to Laval.
Vice-President and General Manager Joe Mack has also issued the following statement on non-import defensive back Kris Robertson, whom the Blue Bombers drafted in the second round, 11th overall.
"Our organization was very much looking forward to Kris coming to camp this year but unfortunately he has suffered a serious knee injury after the draft that will force him to miss the entire season. We wish him well in his recovery and anticipate him joining our team next year."
