
Tiger-Cats Add Two Running Backs, Release Keith

Hamilton, Ontario -The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has signed import running backs Brian Calhoun and Jhamal Fluellen .
Calhoun, a 5-10, 208-pound native of Atlanta, Georgia was selected by the Detroit Lions in the third round (74th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft. Calhoun spent three seasons (2006-08) with the Lions before he was released in 2009. Calhoun earned second-team All-American honours at Wisconsin, where he carried the ball 348 times for 1,636 yards and 22 touchdowns.
Fluellen, a 5-9, 186-pound native of Lockport, New York played three seasons at Maine, carrying the ball 377 times for 1,908 yards and ten touchdowns. The 25-year old also added 63 receptions for 589 receiving yards and three touchdowns with the Black Bears. Fluellen participated on the Maine track and field team in 2009.
The Ticats also announced that the team has released import running backKenton Keith.
