Gwinnett Stripers News Release
Richmond, VA - The Norfolk Tides beat the Richmond Braves 2-1 Saturday at The Diamond. The Tides pushed two runs across in the top of the ninth to end a three game Braves winning streak.

The Tides rallied back in the ninth on just one hit. Sacrifice flies by Anderson Hernandez and Chris Basak provided the Tides with the margin of victory.

Matt Childers took the loss. The Braves stranded 12 baserunners. J.C. Boscan had three hits for the Braves. The Tides were held to three hits.
