Hamilton Tiger-Cats News Release
Hamilton, Ontario - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are pleased to announce that the team has non-import offensive guard Mark Moroz to one-year (plus an option) contract.
Moroz, a 6-4, 285-pound native of Welland, Ontario, was the Toronto Argonauts' first round (4th overall) selection in the 2004 CFL Canadian College Draft. Moroz played four games for Toronto last season and was released by the Argos on September 2nd after being inactive for the team's first nine games of the 2005 regular season.
"We're excited to add Mark to our roster," Ticats head coach Greg Marshall said. "Hopefully he will be able to provide us with some depth on our offensive line. We look forward to seeing what he can do on the field for us."
With the addition of Moroz, the Ticats now have the two of the first four selections in the 2004 CFL Canadian College Draft. The Ticats used the first overall pick to select offensive guard Wayne Smith.
