
Thursday's Series Opener Postponed Due to Rain

ASHEVILLE - Thursday night's contest between the Asheville Tourists and the Columbia Fireflies has officially postponed due to rain. This is the tenth home rainout of the season which adds to the record number of rainouts in 2018 at McCormick Field.
Thursday's game will be made up as part of a double-header on Saturday, August 4th. Both games on Saturday are scheduled for seven innings. The first contest will begin at 5:05pm and the second game will start approximately half an hour after the conclusion of game one.
Saturday nights' gates to McCormick Field will open at 4:00pm and the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive an Asheville Tourists replica jersey presented by Aaron's.
Friday night's game between the Tourists and the Fireflies will begin at 7:05pm and is scheduled for a full nine innings. A post-game fireworks show presented by Ingles will follow tomorrow's contest.
