INDIANAPOLIS -- Thursday night's International League contest between the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees and Indianapolis Indians was suspended in the middle of the fourth inning due to heavy rain in central Indiana. Scranton was leading 8-5 when play was interrupted.

The suspended contest will resume at 5:30 p.m. on Friday May 20. After the conclusion of the suspended game, Friday's regularly scheduled game will be played, followed by a Victory Field fireworks show. Due to International League rules, the first game will be completed as a nine-inning contest and the second game will be a seven-inning affair. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m.

Both of Friday evening's contests will be carried by WXLW-950 AM and broadcast live on Comcast and Bright House Networks digital channel 81 with Howard Kellman and Scott McCauley on the call. The pre-game show begins at 5:10 p.m.

Fans with tickets to Thursday evening's game may exchange them for tickets of equal value to another 2010 regular-season home game. All exchanges are based on availability and must be made at the Victory Field Box Office.

Scranton RHP Zack McAllister and Indianapolis RHP Hayden Penn are the probable starters for the regularly-scheduled contest.
