BRAHMAS STUN THUNDER- The Thunder fought back from a 4-2 third period deficit, before falling to Fort Worth in overtime on Friday. Paul and Todd Johnson led the Thunder with a goal and an assist each, but it was Chad Woollard who recorded the game-winner, finishing the night with four points. Travis Clayton and Peter MacKellar also scored goals for the Thunder, which fell to 0-5 in overtime this season.

THUNDER RIP OILERS- The Thunder jumped out to a 4-0 lead, then pulled away, taking a 7-3 victory in Tulsa on Saturday. The win was Wichita's first versus the Oilers this season, after suffering four straight one-goal losses.. Jason Duda led Wichita with three points, as 11 different Thunder players found their way into the scoring column. Goaltender Kristian Antila made 30 saves to record his first ever North American victory. Defenseman Paul Johnson was taken to the hospital for observation after being elbowed by Tulsa's Justin Ossachuk and is questionable for this week with a sore neck and a concussion.

CLAYTON STILL LEADS CHL- Center Travis Clayton had three points again this weekend, remaining tied atop the CHL scoring race with Memphis' Don Parsons, at 43 points each. At his current pace, Clayton would be the first Thunder player to finish the season with more than 100 points, since Bob Berg scored 101 points in 1995. Clayton also ranks second in the CHL with 28 assists. With 412 points, Clayton leads linemate Jason Duda by two points for the most in Thunder history. Duda is currently eighth in the CHL with 37 points, while Jeff Petruic sits in 15th, with 30 points.

ANOTHER RECORD FOR LEITER- Team captain Jeff Leiter picked up two major penalties this weekend, passing Kris Schultz for the most majors in Thunder history, with 45. Leiter has now moved up to third place in the CHL, with 158 penalty minutes. He also now ranks fourth in Thunder history with 665 penalty minutes.

THUNDERBOLTS- The Thunder lead the CHL in scoring, averaging 3.85 goals per game...Wichita is the only CHL team with five players, who have scored 10 or more goals...The Thunder also lead the CHL, averaging 33.81 penalty minutes per game...Wichita's power play unit is now up to sixth in the CHL, at 17.8%... Defenseman Chad Nelson has six points, 54 penalty minutes and is +10 in his last five games...The Thunder are 3-1-1 in the last five games, outscoring their opponents 26-17...The Thunder will play seven of their next nine games at home, where they are 4-0-2 in their last six...The Thunder players will deliver new Teddy Bears to children at both Wesley Hospital and Via Christi this afternoon.
