Thunder Bring Back Beaureguard; Waive Gallimore

Wichita, KS (November 1st) - The Wichita Thunder of the Central Hockey League, powered by Toyota, announced today the signing of forward Thomas Beaureguard and is expected to be in the line-up tonight. Beaureguard played in Wichita during its run to the 2011-12 CHL Finals, its first visit in 14 seasons. To make room, the team has waived forward Burke Gallimore.

Beaureguard, 27, played in 60 regular season games during the 2011-12 season for the Thunder, tallying 59 points (22g, 37a) while also adding 20 points (8g, 12a) during 16 playoff games. Last season, he split time between San Francisco and Fort Wayne of the ECHL. In 292 career games, he has amassed 134 goals and 127 assists during his seven-year pro career. A native of Montreal, Quebec, the 5-foot-11, 185-pound forward's brother David was named the 1998 CHL Rookie of the Year while playing for the Thunder. Beaureguard signed with Tulsa to start the season, but was waived yesterday.

The Thunder heads to St. Charles, Missouri tomorrow to face the Chill for the first time in franchise history.
