
CHL Sher-Wood Coaches Poll Results Announced

GLENDALE, AZ - The Denver Cutthroats have been unbeatable on the ice in the early part of the 2013-14 regular season and they were rewarded earning the top spot on the first Sher-Wood Coaches Poll of the season.
The poll is released on or near the beginning and middle of each month throughout the regular season. Each first place vote receives 10 points, second place votes earn 9 points, etc.
The Cutthroats (5-0-0) are one of three undefeated teams in the CHL along with the Rapid City Rush (5-0-0) and the Missouri Mavericks (4-0-0) and in the first poll of the season, they received four first place votes while the only other unbeaten club to receive a first place vote was the Rush with a pair of them.
The remaining four first place votes went to the defending Ray Miron Presidents' Cup Champion Allen Americans who are in first place with a 5-0-1 record (11 points). Alllen ranked #2 on the current poll finishing one point ahead of #3 Rapid City. Rounding out the top five are the Missouri Mavericks at #4 and the Wichita Thunder at #5.
