
Thunder Assigned Prospect Goaltender

WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Thunder signed goaltender Peter Delmas to a five-game contract on Tuesday.
Delmas (pronounced DELL-mah) appeared in two AHL games this season with the Hamilton Bulldogs, saving 56 of a combined 60 shots (.933). On October 29th, the Bedford, Nova Scotia native earned his first professional victory, saving 32 of 33 versus Toronto. Delmas also appeared in two games at the Major Junior level this season for the QMJHL's Halifax Mooseheads.
Delmas is a former second round pick of the Colorado Avalanche in 2008. In four-plus seasons in the QMJHL, the 20-year old netminder was 69-66-5 with a 3.27 goals against average and an .890 save percentage. The 6-foot-2, 188-pound Delmas proved durable in his junior career, appearing in at least 34 games in each of his four full seasons. Delmas is being assigned by Hamilton.
The Thunder also waived forward Chris Falloon.
