Bucks' Jung Named Goalie of the Week

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks, in conjunction with the Central Hockey League, announced Tuesday that Torrie Jung has been named the Oakley/CHL Goaltender of the week for the period ending November 7th.
The 21-year-old Jung went 2-0 last week leading the Bucks to wins over the defending Governor's Cup (Odessa) and President's Cup Champions (Rapid City) in back to back games. Jung stopped a combined 68 out of 72 shots he faced in the two Bucks wins last week. The Nanaimo, British Columbia native set aside 32 of 34 shots Tuesday (Nov. 2nd) in the Bucks 4-2 win over the Jackalopes while he stopped a career-high 36 of 38 attempts Friday (Nov. 5th) in Laredo's 5-2 win over the Rush.
The 6'1'', 175 pound Jung is 3-0 in his professional career 1.67 G.A.A and a CHL-best .948 save. %.
Jung will receive a gift from Oakley for this accomplishment.
The Bucks swept both CHL weekly awards as Neil Trimm was named Oakley/CHL player of the week Monday.
