Three Stampede Players Invited to NBA Development League Elite Camp

BOISE, Idaho, May 13, 2013 - Stampede players Reggie Hamilton, Justin Harper, and Josh Owens will participate in the 2013 NBA Development League's Elite Mini-Camp in Chicago on Monday, May 13 and Tuesday, May 14. This annual camp allows top NBA Development League players to showcase their skills in front of NBA scouts and executives who are expected to be on hand to evaluate talent as NBA teams look to fill Summer League and training camp rosters. The camp will be held at Quest Multisport Athletics Facility in Chicago, IL.

Reggie Hamilton - The 5-11, 180-pound Stampede rookie guard, Reggie Hamilton averaged 9.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists in 18 games with the Stampede.

Justin Harper - The 6-10, 225-pound forward, Justin Harper averaged 11.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.0 assist in 48 games with Idaho. Justin was the 32nd overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers, who subsequently traded his draft rights to the Orlando Magic where he played in 14 games through the 2011-12 season.

Josh Owens - The 6-9, 240-pound forward, Josh Owens averaged 5.4 points and 4.6 rebounds per game in 42 games with Idaho.

Nine NBA D-League coaches will run the drills and exercises during the camp, while players who competed for 14 of the 16 NBA D-League teams during the 2012-13 season will participate in the event.

The event has previously been held in Los Angeles (2009), Chantilly, Va (2010), and Chicago (2012).
