
Three Missions Named to Texas League All-Star Team

San Antonio - Monday Texas League President Tom Kayser announced that three San Antonio Missions were named to the Texas League All-Star South team. 1B Bryan LaHair and RF Wladimir Balentien were both selected as starters in the field for the South Team and RHP Yorman Bazardo was selected as one of the pitchers. The Texas League All-Star game is scheduled to take place in Little Rock, Arkansas on Tuesday, June 20 at 7:00 pm.
Missions 1B Bryan LaHair, OF Wladimir Balentien, and RHP Yorman Bazardo will be their first appearance in the Texas League All Star Game for the Missions. LaHair is currently 10th in the league in hitting with a .307 average six homeruns and 29 runs batted in. He also has the highest fielding percentage of any first baseman in the league. Balentien is hitting .258 with 10 homers and 36 runs batted in. Balentien is currently sixth in the league in homeruns. Yorman Bazardo is 2-2 with the seventh lowest ERA in the league at 3.44.
