Savannah, GA - Making possibly his last start in a Drive uniform, Jon Lester's rehab stint hit a speed bump Friday night versus the Sand Gnats, but the Drive were able to rally behind the Major Leaguer for a 5-4 come from behind victory.

Trailing by two in the top of the eighth, Jason Place doubled home Jon Egan and Carlos Fernandez delivered a two-out, two-RBI single to give the Drive their first lead since the second inning. The victory improved the Drive's record to 8-8, the first time they have been at .500 on the year.

Greenville got out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first. With two outs, Egan singled home Lars Anderson and Jon Still.

The lead was short-lived, however, as the Sand Gnats tied the game in the bottom of the second off of starter Jon Lester. Lester, who was nearly unhittable during his first two rehab starts, surrendered a two-run homer to Brahiam Maldonado.

The Sand Gnats took the lead in Lester's final inning as Hector Pellot led off the fifth inning with a solo home run.

Savannah was able to extend their lead an inning later as D.J. Wabick hit a one-out solo home run off reliever Travis Beazley. It was the only blemish on Beazley's outing as he struckout five in four innings of work to run his record to a perfect 3-0.

The Drive return home Saturday evening as they host the Asheville Tourists for a four-game series. First pitch at West End Field is scheduled for 7:05 PM. Right-hander Chris Jones will take the mound for the Drive as the Tourists will counter with right-hander Josh Sullivan.

NOTES: Manny Arambarris led the Drive offensively with two hits...Jon Lester's line in three starts for the Drive is 0-0 with a 2.08 ERA, 15 strikeouts and two walks in 13.0 innings
