Three Doors Down's Brad Arnold To Perform Opening Night

BILOXI, MS - The Mississippi Sea Wolves announced on Friday that South Mississippi native son Brad Arnold of the band Three Doors Down will perform "The Star Spangled Banner" on Saturday, October 27, 2007 prior to the Sea Wolves home opener against the Reading Royals.

"We're tremendously lucky and pleased to be able to have a musician the caliber of Brad Arnold perform on opening night," stated Sea Wolves president Bill Yates. "He comes from the Mississippi Coast, and understands what the Biloxi-Gulfport area and the greater Gulf Coast region have gone through since Hurricane Katrina which makes his appearance even more significant and our return to the coliseum that much more special."

Three Doors Down, an alternative rock band, have sold over 14 million records internationally with such hits as "Kryptonite," "Duck & Run," "Loser," "Be Like That," "When I'm Gone" and "Here Without You," are originally from Escatawpa, Miss., located in Jackson County.

The Sea Wolves open the 2007-08 season this Friday and Saturday when they visit the Florida Everblades! Friday's game will be broadcast on 1490-AM WXBD, and Saturday's game can be heard on 1640-AM WTNI. On Saturday, October 27th the Sea Wolves will celebrate their return to home ice and their 10th season in pursuit of the ECHL's Kelly Cup when they face the Reading Royals at 7:05 P.M.
