Thrashers Return Stuart To Wolves

The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned left wing COLIN STUART to the Chicago Wolves.

The 25-year-old forward was held off the scoresheet in Atlanta's 5-1 loss to the Montreal Canadiens last night after being recalled earlier in the day. STUART has collected three goals and five points in 18 games over three stints with the Thrashers during his NHL debut this season. The Oak Park native has also skated in 36 games with the Wolves this year, netting three goals, seven points and 24 penalty minutes.

Overall, STUART has appeared in 220 matchups in a Chicago uniform since turning pro before the 2004-05 season, collecting 37 goals, 31 assists, 68 points and 176 penalty minutes, which includes setting professional career highs with 18 goals and 29 points in 67 regular-season outings last season.

The Western Conference leading Wolves face off against the San Antonio Rampage at the AT&T Center tonight at 7 p.m.
