San Jose Sharks Reassign Goaltender Thomas Greiss To Worcester

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has reassigned goaltender Thomas Greiss to the Worcester Sharks (AHL).

In three games with San Jose, Greiss has posted an 0-1-1 record with a 3.26 goals-against average and an .860 save percentage.

With Worcester this season, Greiss has a 13-14-1 record with a 3.20 goals-against average and an .892 save percentage.

The six-foot-one, 200-pound native of Fussen, Germany was selected by San Jose in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft (3rd round, 94th overall).
