Thorns FC to Host NWSL Semifinal on October 23; Individual Tickets on Sale October 6

PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Thorns FC will play host to a semifinal match in the 2022 NWSL Playoffs at Providence Park on Sunday, Oct. 23; kickoff is set for 2 p.m. (Pacific) on CBS Sports Network, it was announced today by the NWSL. Individual tickets for the playoff match will be available for purchase on Thursday, Oct. 6, beginning at 12 p.m. (Pacific) online at www.thornsfc.com or by phone at (888) 983-1783.

Thorns FC (10-3-9, 39pts) earned the No. 2 seed in the playoffs, qualifying for the postseason for a sixth consecutive campaign. It also marks the fifth time in six seasons Portland has earned a top-two finish in the NWSL. Thorns FC will play host to the winner of No. 3 San Diego Wave FC vs. No. 6 Chicago Red Stars in their home semifinal.

The winner of the Oct. 23 playoff game will advance to the 2022 NWSL Championship presented by Budweiser at Audi Field in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, Oct. 29, at 5 p.m. (Pacific) on CBS. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at https://www.nwslsoccer.com/championship.
