
Thorns FC Sign Defender Alyssa Kleiner

Portland Thorns FC News Release
PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Thorns FC have signed defender Alyssa Kleiner, it was announced today.
Additionally, Portland has waived forward Hanna Terry.
Kleiner, 22, has appeared in seven matches (3 starts) for Portland in 2015 as an amateur player. A native of Las Vegas, Nev., Kleiner made her Thorns FC debut on May 9 as a substitute against Washington and earned her first start against the Houston Dash on May 23, playing 90 minutes. Additionally, Kleiner started and tallied the game-winning assist on July 3 in a 2-1 win against Sky Blue FC at Providence Park.
In her second season for Thorns FC in 2015, Terry, 24, appeared in six matches, logging 131 minutes. Terry made her Thorns FC debut on June 15, 2014 in a home match against the Washington Spirit.
Thorns FC square off against Sky Blue FC on Saturday, July 22, at Yurcak Field in Piscataway, N.J.; kickoff is set for 4 p.m. (Pacific).
