This Week in Hounds Nation
November 3, 2015 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Soo Greyhounds News Release
It will be another busy week for the Soo Greyhounds this week, as the club will take to the ice on three occasions, including two on home ice.
The Hounds enter the week with a record of 6 wins, 7 losses and 2 overtime losses for 14 points and 4th spot in the OHL's West Division.
Let's take a look at the week ahead;
Wednesday, November 4th @ Saginaw Spirit
7:05 PM - Dow Event Center
With sole possession of 3rd place in the West Division on the line, the Hounds head down I-75 and into the Dow Event Center on Wednesday to take on the Spirit.
The division rivals have met once previously this season, with Saginaw posting a 5-2 victory over the Hounds back on October 9th. Zach Senyshyn and Morgan Frost tallied the lone Greyhound goals.
Let it be known that through three meetings between the Hounds and Spirit (2 exhibition, 1 regular season), the visiting team has won each time.
Of note, Spirit leading-scorer Dylan Sadowy (9g, 8a, 17pts in 12gp) will miss the latest clash serving the fourth and final game of his league-imposed suspension.

Friday November 6th vs Mississauga Steelheads
7:07 PM - Essar Centre
The Hounds then return to home ice to continue their lengthy stretch of home games, for the only visit by the Mississauga Steelheads.
For Mississauga, it will be the start of their Northern Ontario road trip that takes them into Sudbury one day later.
The Steelheads are led by 2016 NHL Draft prospect Alexander Nylander, who leads the team with 21 points in 16 games (10G-11A-21PTS).
They also feature the brother duo of Michael and Ryan McLeod. While Michael comes off a gold medal at the Ivan Hlinka Tournament for Team Canada this past August, the latter is a newcomer of sorts to the fish coming over in a trade from Flint.
