
Sting Complete Deal with Steelheads

SARNIA, ON - GM, Nick Sinclair announced that the Hockey Club has completed a trade with the Mississauga Steelheads. The Sting have dealt defenceman, Jake O'Donnell to the Mississauga Steelheads, in exchange for Mississauga's 4th round pick in 2016.
The deal comes at a time when the Sting backend has logged a combined 649 career OHL regular season games. Sinclair comments, "On behalf of the entire organization, we'd like to wish Jake the best of luck with the Mississauga Steelheads."
O'Donnell, a 98-born defenceman was originally drafted in the 4th round of the 2014 OHL Priority Selection by the Sting. In 16 Regular Season games with the club, Jake registered 1 goal and 4 assists for a total of 5 points.
The Sting return to the SSEC this weekend as the Club plays host to the visiting Flint Firebirds on Friday night and the Saginaw Spirit on Sunday at 7:05 PM.
