
Thirteen Current and Former Ticats Named to CFL's All-Decade Team
November 19, 2020 - Canadian Football League (CFL) - Hamilton Tiger-Cats News Release
After five months of fans casting their ballots, the Canadian Football League (CFL) announced and celebrated the premiere players and head coaches of the past 10 years (2010-2019) through the first-ever All-Decade Team. The Tiger-Cats were represented by 13 current and former players named to the first and second teams, which each featured 29 individuals nominated by fans, a selection committee and a media panel.
Brandon Banks, who was selected to both the First Team (special teams returner) and Second Team (wide receiver), was joined on the former by teammates Delvin Breaux Sr. (defensive back) and Ted Laurent (defensive tackle), and Hamilton's current Defensive Backs Coach and Special Teams Assistant, Craig Butler (safety). Two other current Tiger-Cats earned Second-Team honours, including Simoni Lawrence (linebacker) and Chris Van Zeyl (offensive lineman).
