Stamps Well Respresented on CFL All-Decade Team

A total of 16 individuals who spent significant time with the Calgary Stampeders have been named to the Canadian Football League's 2010-19 all-decade team, which was announced Thursday evening.

The list includes 14 players - seven on the first team and seven on the second team - as well as the only two men who served as head coach for the Red and White during the decade - John Hufnagel and Dave Dickenson.

The group of players includes two individuals - defensive back Brandon Smith and punter Rob Maver - who represented the Red and White each year in the decade and 11 who played at least five seasons for Calgary from 2010-19.

As a group over the course of the decade, the 16 Stampeders on the list earned 39 West Division all-star nominations, 29 CFL all-star berths, 11 major individual honours - including two Most Outstanding Player awards for quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell and one for running back Jon Cornish - and 23 Grey Cup rings.
