WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Rifles Junior Football Club will be roasting George (Jeep) Woolley on Thursday, April 7, 2005.

Woolley worked for the Winnipeg Football Club in 1984-1988 as Director of Sales and Promotions. He also handled the duties of Game Day Coordinator and Special Events Coordinator.

Football has always been apart of Woolley's life as he coached the Winnipeg Rods in 1955 & 1960-1961. He coached them two Canadian Junior Championships in 1955 &1961. He continued coaching from 1962-1966 as the offensive and defensive line coach with the University of Manitoba. In 1966 they won the W.I.C.F.L. championship title.

The third annual roast will take place at Canad Inns - Polo Park. Cocktails at 6:30PM and dinner at 7:30PM. Tickets are 125.00 dollars with a table of 10 for 1,250.00 dollars.
