Rider season tickets surpass 10,000

March 17, 2005 - Canadian Football League (CFL)
Saskatchewan Roughriders News Release

Saskatchewan Roughrider President/CEO Jim Hopson announced today that 2005 Rider season ticket sales have surpassed the 10,000 mark.

"To date, the Roughriders have sold 10,035 season tickets. While this pace is slightly behind the 2003 Grey Cup season, it's well ahead of 2004 and previous years," said Hopson.

Hopson credits the high numbers to successful Christmas and Early Bird campaigns. Rider fans have until this Saturday to purchase their season tickets at Early Bird prices.

"We are extremely pleased our fans have continued to show a commitment to this club," said Hopson. "The tremendous on-field product we have seen over the past few years under Roy Shivers and Danny Barrett has allowed us to capitalize and our fan base continues to grow."

Season ticket holders have until April 15 to renew their tickets before their seats are released and available to the public.
