
The Sandlot Tour Stop at Classic Park Tomorrow Night

The Captains host "The Sandlot 20th Anniversary Tour" at Classic Park tomorrow night! The Director and Narrator of the movie, David Mickey Evans, will serve as the host for the evening. The Sandlot is an iconic coming-of-age film about a group of young baseball players in the summer of 1962.
The gates will open at 5:30 PM with several The Sandlot related activities planned and the movie will be shown on the Classic Park video board at 8 PM. Tickets for the event will be $7 in advance or a family four package will be available for $20. All tickets will be $10 the day of event and the family four pack package will not be available that day. Tickets are available at the Captains website, the Classic Park Box Office or by phone at 440-954-WINS (9467).
Evans will be meeting fans and signing autographs on the concourse from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM and also from 8 PM until 10 PM. He will host The Sandlot trivia with fun giveaways from 7:40 PM until 8 PM.
The Captains Kids Zone inflatable area and playground will be open with an all-you-can-play wristband available for $5.
Fans in attendance will have access to the Classic Park outfield grass area to play catch and watch the movie. Merchandise related to The Sandlot will be on sale, including The Sandlot 20th Anniversary Blu-ray + DVD combo pack.
No food or beverages will be allowed into Classic Park and a limited concessions menu will be available at the Classic Park Concession Stands.
A portion of the proceeds from the evening will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland and "The Sandlot Baseball Field Program".
Parking for the event is free in the Captains Gold Lot.
The Captains Three-Day Baseball Camp will be held Wednesday, July 17 to Friday, July 19 at Classic Park. The camp for ages 7 through 14 will run from 9 AM to 12 PM each day. Each camper will receive an exclusive camp t-shirt, a pair of Captains batting gloves, instruction from Captains players and coaches, autograph session, lunch daily from 12 to 12:30 PM and one ticket to the July 19 Captains game against the Cedar Rapids Kernels. The cost of the camp is only $135!

The Captains are excited to host Pro Football Hall of Famer Paul Warfield on Sunday, July 21 at Classic Park. Special, limited VIP Fan Packages are available for the appearance featuring an all-you-can-eat buffet, 8" by 10" Warfield photo, in-game reception with Warfield on Classic Park's PNC Party Suite Level and the opportunity to take a professional photo with the Hall of Famer!
