
The Patriots Are Coming to Brockton

BROCKTON -- The Brockton Rox will host the first annual Cold Stove Banquet presented by Brockton Furnace & Duct Distributors, Inc. at The Shaw's Center on Thursday, August 11 at 6:00 P.M.
Featured speakers will include former Patriots Pro Bowl Linebacker and current Curry College Head Coach Steve Nelson, three-time Pro Bowl tight end Russ Francis, Pro Bowl running back Mosi Tatupu and longtime Patriots Center and WBCN Radio analyst Pete Brock. All will be available for photographs and autographs.
The Cold Stove will be hosted by the WEEI Radio's "Touchdown Twins" -- Kevin Mannix, senior football writer for the Boston Herald and Ron Hobson, football writer from the Patriot Ledger.
A charity auction featuring Patriots and NFL memorabilia will benefit the Curry College Athletics Program and the Foundation Fighting Blindness.
"We're excited to bring these former Patriots legends to Brockton," said Rox General Manager David Sacchetti, "This banquet is the perfect complement to our annual Hot Stove Baseball Dinner and we look forward to making it an ongoing tradition."
Tickets are on sale now for $35 apiece, which includes a three-course dinner. Tables of 8 and 10 are also available.
