"The Great American Wedding Rink" Coming

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, in partnership with KAT Country 103 is scheduled to host "The Great American Wedding Rink," an event which engaged couples tie the knot on the ice during the Saturday, Feb. 14 game when the Thunder hosts the Bakersfield Condors at 7:30 p.m. at the Stockton Arena.
During the first event of its kind in the club's four-year history, couples will be married during the first intermission on the most romantic holiday of the calendar year.
Radio personality "D.J. Walker" of KAT Country 103, a licensed minister in the state of California, is scheduled to preside over the ceremonies.
Each participating couple will receive four complimentary tickets to the game from the Thunder, while additional tickets for family and friends are available for purchase at a discounted rate. Registered couples for the event will also be eligible to win special wedding prizes from Ciccarelli Jewelers, Segale Travel and Carnival Cruise Lines, The Lexington Waterfront Hotel and much more!
