Florence Y'alls News Release

(Florence, KY) -The game, Mrs. Hudson, is on.

The Florence Freedom, in partnership with Metzger Eye Care and the Murder Mystery Theater Company, are proud to announce that Sherlock Holmes Night is set for Saturday, July 26 at UC Health Stadium. First pitch is at 6:05 p.m. Fans can purchase tickets here.

The Freedom players will wear special "Sherlock" inspired hats throughout the game. The hats go on sale at the Heritage Bank Team Shop and online at florencefreedom.com to the general public this Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. Each hat will cost $40, a nod to "The Sign of the Four." Only a limited supply of hats are available. These are the only Sherlock inspired baseball hats on the market! In preparation for the night, the Freedom re-created scenes from the popular television show "Sherlock" with their players and posted the images on their Facebook page.

Equally as exciting, trained actors from the Murder Mystery Theater Company will be at the game acting out a Murder Mystery Theater throughout the night. It's the first Murder Mystery Theater performance at a baseball game in history.

The script of the Murder Mystery Theater is entitled "Take 'em out at the ballgame." The exciting mystery will be acted out throughout the evening until the seventh inning stretch. At that point fans have until the middle of the ninth inning to cast their ballot on who they think committed the crime. Fans who guess correctly could win one of the special Sherlock hats and a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses.

The evening will also feature live post-game music from Boo Radley and kickball after the game for kids.
