
The Ferris Wheel at Pacific Park to Light up with LA Galaxy Colors Ahead of Match Friday

LOS ANGELES - The LA Galaxy will light up Los Angeles ahead of the club's match on Friday, July 19 vs. LAFC (7 p.m. PT; ESPN/ESPN Deportes). On Thursday, July 18, the Pacific Wheel Ferris wheel at Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier will be illuminated with the LA Galaxy Shield and team colors, marking the second time this season that the landmark will be lit up in support of the Galaxy. The Pacific Wheel at Pacific Park will remain lit through the Galaxy's match against LAFC.
Friday marks the Galaxy's first match of the season against LAFC this season, having played them on three occasions last season, LAFC's first in the MLS. In their first encounter, the LA Galaxy won a 4-3 contest at home, followed by two draws in their final two games, 2-2 and 1-1, respectively. Team captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored three goals in those three games against LAFC, including the late game winner in his March 2018 debut.
