Reading Royals News Release
Alright, boys and girls, it's time to wrap those knuckles in aluminum foil and sharpen up your sticks 'cause here we go again...the fifteenth season of Royals' hockey is fast upon us, and we're going to shift things into high gear with the Tenth Anniversary version of our Swing Into the Season Golf Tournament Charity Golf Tournament.
We're looking forward to a great year of hockey, and what we believe will be our best charity golf tournament ever. In our opinion, this is the best way to get to REALLY meet the players (and see them in their 'natural habitat' so to speak) early in the season.
In that regard, we will once again host the event at Heidelberg Country Club on Monday, November 2, with an 11:00 am shot-gun start for a scramble/best ball format. The details are set out in the brochure that is attached to this email.
We are focusing our energy on getting a big group out this season with an eye towards raising funds for Royals Charities (and knocking off any team that Drew Bell happens to be playing for!)
As always, your Three-Golfer Team will be completed by adding one of the Royals' players to fill out the foursome. The basic package is $500.00 with $100.00 for a hole sign recognizing you and/or your company. We will continue with our traditional fan favorite events at the tourney, including the closest to the hole and long drive competitions, as well as a putting contest. We also are going to have a couple of new elements to our tournament this year, including the opportunity to buy mulligans and a 50/50 raffle!
We're also adding a couple of new ways for your company to benefit from the tournament-and, of course, help out Royals Charities, including a Title Sponsorship which is a fully-loaded package that includes:
Two (2) Three-Golfer Teams (each of which will be filled out with one of our players)
Company recognition on all of our mentions/materials regarding the tournament (including all of the social media accounts managed by the Royals)
a large banner displayed at the tournament registration and post-tournament dinner party
a hole sign on all 18 golf holes and the driving range
a sleeve of golf balls for each player in the tournament prominently displaying the Company logo and the Royals' logo
a golf shirt and hat for each player in the tournament prominently displaying the Royals logo and Company logo
a framed team photo of the Royals' players wearing the shirt (which will be posted on the Royals' website and our social media accounts)
We also have another brand new sponsorship option this year, which is my personal favorite: the Broadcaster's Guest Color Commentator Special for all of our aspiring hockey broadcasters out there! Please note that this opportunity to be a part of the Royals' game night broadcast can be GIFTED TO A PERSON OF YOUR CHOICE!
However you decide to participate, as always, we very much appreciate your participation and support-and we look forward to seeing your team hoist the Chet Perfetto Cup!
